Initial Post - Purpose Statement
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Silicon Valley Life
- Spiritual Theology
As a working professional, I want to help transform the focus of corporate ethics from activity based compliance to forming generative communities focused on sustainable economic, environmental and social health.
I created a few entries in an earlier blog about my cycling trip through the southwest after graduating from Regent College, Vancouver, with an interdisciplinary degree in Christianity & Culture. It's now more than two years later and I want to continue the practice of capturing the learning from my efforts to actively engage in the Silicon Valley.
My observations are influenced by my Judeo-Christian perspective as I find my formative roots in the Hebrew scripture. From this starting point I seek to develop an open receptivity towards the Spirit of Christ as evoked through the biblical text. My desire is to serve God in this capacity and redeem the land, time and people where I've been called.
The objective of this blog is articulate my thoughts on day-to-day life, events attended on the topics above as well as other activities which ignite my desire to write. I hope thes entries provide my friends and family insight, encouragement and information as we travel on this adventure together.
